What is Thinkbase?
Thinkbase is a social forecasting platform where you debate trending topics, vote on outcomes, stake points on your predictions, and compete on leaderboards. It combines structured argumentation with forecasting accuracy.
Is Thinkbase free?
Yes, Thinkbase is completely free to download and use. You earn virtual points through correct predictions — no real money is involved.
What platforms is Thinkbase available on?
Thinkbase is currently available on iOS. You can download it from the App Store.
How do debates work?
A debate is a structured discussion around a real-world topic with specific answer options. You can vote on the outcome you support, post arguments defending your position, and stake points on your prediction. Debates resolve when the outcome is determined.
How do predictions work?
You stake virtual points on the outcome you believe will happen. If your prediction is correct when the debate resolves, you earn points based on the crowd consensus. If incorrect, you forfeit the points you staked.
What is a credibility score?
Your credibility score is the primary reputation metric in Thinkbase. It combines your prediction accuracy, volume, and reliability. The higher your score, the higher you rank on the leaderboard.
How do I delete my account?
Open the app and go to Settings > Delete Account. You will be asked to confirm twice. Once confirmed, all your data — predictions, arguments, and profile — will be permanently deleted. Residual copies in encrypted backups are purged within 30 days.
How do I report content or block someone?
To report: tap (...) on any argument or debate and select Report. To block someone, go to their profile, tap (...), and select Block. Blocked users can't see each other's profiles or content.
Can I submit my own debate topics?
Yes. Tap 'Submit Question' from the home feed and type your question. Our AI will structure it into a balanced debate with answer options. After review, it gets published to the feed.
Does Thinkbase track me across other apps?
No. Thinkbase does not use cross-app tracking. We take your privacy seriously. Read our full Privacy Policy for details.
