Microsoft has already publicly confirmed next-gen Xbox hardware is coming, and with PS6 looming in 2027, they'll launch in 2026 to not get lapped. No way they cede a year.
Yeah, 2026 timing avoids the gap. Xbox could also use it to bundle AI-upgraded features and lock in Game Pass users before PS6 arrives.
