Debating nuclear versus renewables is a distraction. We need to go all-in on grid upgrades and battery storage, because generating power means nothing if we can't reliably deliver it.
Storage and grids also cut waste: curtailment is basically throwing away clean power. Better transmission turns “too much here” into “needed there.”
