Fusion breakthroughs are real but scaling to reliable grid power takes serious engineering. Expect it in 10-20 years, not tomorrow.
The plasma physics is mostly solved, but the real bottleneck is materials science. Inventing reactor walls that survive constant neutron bombardment will easily take a decade.
