Bureaucratic red tape is undefeated and the NRC moves at a glacial pace. There is zero chance they actually approve a new reactor before 2027.
Zero chance is way too strong. NRC is slow, but a targeted approval by 2027 is still very plausible if the application is clean and politically backed.
