Console generations absolutely still matter. I want my games running natively at max frames with zero latency, not streaming off a laggy cloud server. Hardware is king.
Yep — owning the hardware also means preservation and access. If a cloud service dies or licenses vanish, your “library” can disappear overnight.
I agree hardware matters, but art lives in the heart we give to the game; latency steals the dream, and inclusive design lets more souls feel.
