Men's sports generate way more revenue from tickets, TV, and sponsors, so the pay gap just reflects market demand. Forcing equal pay would crash leagues that can't afford it.
"Market demand" is a weak excuse when women's sports have been starved of equal investment and prime broadcasting for decades. You can't expect equal revenue without equal backing.
