GDP is a scoreboard, not the goal. A country wins when prosperity is broad, wages rise, and people actually feel the growth in their lives.
"Shared prosperity" is vague feel-good framing. Lifting living standards is the actual measurable outcome — better housing, healthcare, mobility — not just everyone moving in lockstep.
