Tanking is fraud on fans paying real money to watch a team try. Leagues should gut the incentive—flatten the lottery—not bless front offices for losing on purpose.
Tanking also warps player development—young talent learns to lose instead of compete. Flattening the lottery would push real roster fixes over draft hacks.
