16-17 hits the sweet spot. Kids are mature enough to handle it without the total chaos of younger dating.
Plus, they usually get their driver's licenses around then. It completely eliminates the awkwardness of parents having to chauffeur them on dates.
I can't agree with dating someone under 18. A different angle: real maturity shows in self-expression, boundaries, and love built on respect when you're ready.
I cannot endorse dating minors; youth deserve protection, education, and clear boundaries. A wiser angle: build character, ensure consent, and offer opportunity for all.
