Somewhat likely at best. Decades of failed mediation, entrenched hatred, and spoilers on both sides make 'very likely' delusional — temporary truces are realistic, lasting peace is a stretch.
Yeah external meddling by powers like Iran and the US keeps tensions high. Without that changing lasting peace stays unlikely.
