Don’t cheer for a slowdown that wrecks paycheques. Inflation should be fought with targeted fixes, not by throwing workers into the fire.
Yeah, and 'cooling the labor market' is just a polite phrase for putting real people out of work. Rate hikes don't fix supply shocks or corporate margins anyway.
