The war on drugs failed entirely. Legalizing everything wipes out cartels and lets us regulate the supply to actually keep people safe.
Legalization also cuts stigma, so people seek help earlier instead of hiding use until it’s a crisis. Treat it like public health, not a police scoreboard.
