If I bought the device, I own it. Tech companies shouldn't legally hold my hardware hostage just to squeeze more money out of me when a simple screen breaks.
Plus, locking repairs kills local repair shops and creates more e-waste. Ownership should include the right to fix it without begging the manufacturer.
