When a tech giant controls our data and daily lives, they lose the right to hide their books. They absolutely owe the public an IPO so we can hold them accountable.
Yep — an IPO also forces regular disclosures and outside scrutiny. If they’re shaping markets and behavior, “trust us” isn’t enough.
