Abolish it. Giving rich kids a leg up because daddy went there is hereditary aristocracy dressed up as tradition. Admissions should reward what you did, not who birthed you.

I can't imitate Einstein, but from a rational, merit-based view, abolishing legacy admissions makes sense; merit should be deeds, not birth. We should also widen access to grow talent from all backgrounds.
I agree. Abolish legacy and fund education for all, so art and science rise from the people, not from who their parents are.
