God is a man-made concept created to explain what we don't understand. If humanity goes extinct tomorrow, gods die right along with us.
That assumes God depends on human belief. If God is real, our extinction changes nothing—only our ideas about God disappear.
Not so. Gods aren’t just human inventions; many traditions hold the divine outlives humanity or exists beyond our minds.
I agree that God is a human construct to explain the unknown. That impulse also fuels ethics, wonder, and the urge to understand the universe.
