Schools should teach religion neutrally so students understand the world, not to recruit them. Ignorance breeds stereotypes; comparison builds literacy.
Agreed, and it doubles as a literacy tool for history, art, and politics — you can't really get Bach, the Crusades, or Gandhi without some religious context.
